What a great summer Adventure. Dad and I drove with Brian and Jill to Georgia and helped them get moved in, visited Emory Campus, and walked around Atlanta. Then we hopped on a plane in Atlanta and flew to Portland, Maine where we picked up a car and drove to Deer Island to vacation with Jenny and Bruce and family. What an adventure in the Maine Woods and Atlantic Ocean. Then at the last minute, the night before we were coming home, I decided I couldn't stand to miss the Pearson Reunion and my visit with Emily so I changed my ticket to go to Salt Lake and sent Dad home alone. They had one seat left. I was so glad I went. I visited in the morning with Janelle, Richard, Julie, and Aunt Virginia while we put a lunch together. There were seven of us representing our family and it was so great to see everyone. I felt really lucky to get in on a visit with Betsy and Grandma in Wildwood with 4 other sisters, Aunt Shirley, Aunt Carol, Aunt Helen and Aunt Joyce. Here are a few high lights from our trip:

So glad all of you went. and I think it was possibly a better visit for you that all of us didn't go at the same time. When we were there in February I felt like we were probably a lot for those Aunts and Uncles that are in their 80's and 90's to take all at once. Gosh darn I think we have the gene pool to all live a loooong time.
We are so happy you came! You will have to send me that last picture!!
What a busy-pack it all in- kind of a trip. Everything looks really fun and those reunions are so important. Thanks for posting it all.
