MTC March 4, 2010

Today, we woke up to snow so Paul kindly went out to clean the snow off the car and drive to the
door to get me. He looked really good in my coat. We finally took our picture at the World Map but I won't be able to put it on until we get to Emily's. Today was a very good day. We taught a lesson that actually felt really good because it was a lesson taught to real people with real situations to teach too. Tonight after language class, all the couples taking language tutoring had a meeting to bear their testimonies in their language. I didn't know we were doing it until a few minutes before. I scrapped my long written testimony and just talked. It was okay. Yo digo estas cosas in el nombre de Jesu Christo, Amen I'm sure it isn't all correct but wasn't bad for not knowing. We didn't get home until 9:30. A good thing is that I just saved about $3000 on 3 months worth of medication because for the first time we don't pay the entire amount for my prescriptions. They were still very expensive, about $500 but much better than $300. We have met many wonderful couples here. We were talking with a former stake president tonight about his growing up in Germany. He was only 4 when the war ended. He had many inspirational stories to tell about the way God has helped him. Any of you who haven't read Yearning for the Living God by Enzio Busche should read it. It is a wonderful book. His mothers story is in another book written by a BYU professor but I can't remember the name of it. We also have the former lady mayor of Salt Lake North in our group. We love you all
