I'm back

After a very long hiatus, I have decided, it is about time I re-entered the blogging world. It isn't that nothing every happens in our family, it is just that so much happens, I can't keep up, but it is time for me to at least try. I'll just add a few highlights. After our reunion, we had a wonderful visit with Jenny's family for the rest of the summer. I spend Tuesday's with my Grandchildren.

I take care of Lisa's children while she teaches and whomever else can come to play with cousins. We call it Tuesday's with Grandma. Sadie keeps them entertained and I feed them and love them. I stayed with the Jones children while Lisa and Peter had a trip to New York and met up with Jenny and Bruce.

We had a great Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party in October and Benjamin even provided a
great bounce house for the event. After planning a great Thanksgiving in Pine, we ended up instead in Utah to see Mom Fillmore and have Thanksgiving with Emily and Kyle's family and Brian and Jill's family. The center of attention was Cedric Robert, our wonderful grandchild supplied to us by Brian and Jill. Yes, our baby Brian, now has a beautiful baby boy.

Brian and Jill are a wonderful team and are wonderful doting parents.

We thought we were going to have our first Christmas by ourselves but after having Christmas Even dinner with Annie and Clint's family and visiting Grandpa and Grandma Ray, we were surprised on Chirstmas Eve by Brian and Jill and baby Cedric. What a great surprise and how fun it was to wake up and have Christmas morning with them.

Later we had everyone in town for Christmas Dinner. We had a wonderful baby blessing at the Perkinson home and the next morning we headed for Utah to see Paul's mom again.

We had a wonderful pre-New Year's celebration with everyone in Utah. I also had a nice visit with My Aunt Elva and cousin Carolyn. Aunt Elva is a wonder and we love her dearly. While we were there visiting with the Widdisons, Emily obligingly had her baby a few days early. I was privileged to be there for that blessed event so that Kyle could give his undivided attention to Emily and new baby, beautiful Ruby Belle.
Paul got to be the first one to see the new baby and take the first pictures for the first time.

After that wonderful surprise, he drove back to Arizona without me for Parker and Lark's visit, which I missed.
I arrived home just in time to help with a young adult wedding reception I was supposed to help with. I finally put Christmas away the next two days just in time to spend the rest of the week in bed sick. Paul went to Mexico, just over the border over the week-end to do a little humanitarian dentistry in a little clinic. Last night we were privileged to go to a fireside for Young Adults with Apostle Bednar who was visiting with his wife. It was a delightful and inspiring evening. He had the young adults ask questions which were answered by himself, his wife (who was so cute and charming) and Elder Snow of the Seventies. We are enjoying our time in the young adult ward--lots of weddings, lots of activities, and lots of love. This last picture is our gingerbread house home evening. We usually have 40 or 50 come to those combined home evenings. I am so inspired by the postings on your blogs that I don't dare try to wax poetic--maybe someday when I post some memories.
