A Trip

I have so many things to blog about since Christmas, I decided to do each great experience in a separate blog. After Christmas, Paul and I were able go to Paul's sister Betsy's wedding in Connecticut. First we went to visit our daughter Jenny. It was so fun to see all the kids.
Here all the boys are enjoying a big bucket of flavored popcorn that our daughter Anne sent to her Dad for Christmas.

Lisa and Peter joined us the next day with beautiful Ivy.
It was so fun to get re-acquainted
with this darling granddaughter

Brian came from Atlanta that afternoon and arrived from the airport with Peter and Lisa. Jim and Stephanie joined us later that night. What fun to be together.

We ended our trip with a bang and a whimper. We all drove to Connecticut to Betsy and Larry's country home together. We had a wonderful time at the wedding which will be my next blog. Jim and Stephanie took off to see New York City one day and Washington D.C. the next day. Jenny and I were the whimper. We came down with the flu the morning we left Connecticut and were sick all the way home. We were hoping the rest of the passengers in our vehicle would stay well and they all did. Then after a day of recuperation, we celebrated Lisa's 40th Birthday with a trip to Inner Harbor. You'll have to ask Lisa about the fudge fest. We had a birthday dinner at the Bonefish Grill. So these are our last pictures. Next Blog. Betsy's country house and the wedding in Connecticut.

I love your photo collages. Looks like you've been having lots of fun lately. I liked the firecracker ode to Benjamin. On Thursday this week, Tyler brought home the Principal's Award for Motivation, and Jacob brought home a Principal's note for being in trouble and missing a recess. It made me laugh, and when I showed it to Benjamin he said, well I certainly got more letters home like Jacob's and I was one of the best kids around...anyways, your firecracker comment reminded me of his suspension for selling them at school. It sounds like I'm going to need some of your tips for how to teach, yet see the best in your kids when they get in trouble. I'm listening...
